We are a high quality bilingual educational institution accredited internationally.
 
We seek to contribute to the integral bilingual formation of responsible, autonomous, ethical, creative and leading men and women, with a high academic and technological level, capable of taking on a personal and communitarian commitment to the transformation of society.
 
We count on an educational proposal inspired on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, the frame for Teaching for Understanding, along with a certified quality management system, that answers to the challenges of the XXI Century globalized world.

Institutional Values

Ingles de los Andes School promotes a series of values derived from each of the principles that support the pedagogical model’s philosophy:
 
Principle 1. Singularity.
Singularity is understood as being unique, original and unrepeatable; with one’s own characteristics that differentiate one from the rest and with one’s own life project; being singular, being oneself.
 
Singularity is a synonym of creativity, originality, spontaneity, initiative, knowledge and respect. “The creative man is the man with a constant project”.
 
Principle 2. Autonomy
Autonomy is a person’s capacity to address him/herself, to be creative of him/herself, to have the possibility of being a protagonist, to assume commitment in a free and personal manner, to be a player in his/her development and existence.
 
The autonomous person is capable of directing him/herself, of choosing, of deciding rationally and to responsibly assume the consequences of his/her decisions. He/she is committed, effective, leading, persevering, hardworking, disciplined and reflective.
 
Principle 3. Openness
Openness is the personal disposition that allows a human being to open him/herself to others in a communication process through a language, integrating with others within society and culture.
 
Openness is a synonym of socialization, preparation for human co-existence and for life. The full development of a person is not possible without interaction with others.  
 
Socialization implies the acknowledgement of the other, of his/her dignity and therefore leads to having solidarity, collaborating, being formal, expressive, understanding and cooperative.  
 
Principle 4. Transcendence
Projective dimension of the person as a tendency to grow, to better oneself, to not settle for what one is, to commit to the discovery and experience of values and to his/her spiritual growth. When a person transcends and reaches goals, these in themselves transform to achieve new goals.
 
Transcendence is manifested through commitment, creativity and superation. It leads to being hard working, productive, innovative, entrepreneurial, dynamic and researching.
